Terms and Conditions
Returns Policy:-
Autostad pride ourselves on delivering only the best new or used parts for your Mercedes but in the unforeseen event that you are not completely satisfied with your purchase please follow the returns policy.
1) Goods must be returned to Autostad within 5 working days of purchase.
2) Good must be unused and in the same condition they were received.
3) Goods must be in the original undamaged packaging.
4) Electrical components are NOT returnable.
4) Special order items or sale items are not returnable.
5) Engines, gearboxes and differentials have special conditions of sale and fitment please see below.
6) Damaged body panels will not be accepted for return or credit unless they are returned at time of delivery or collection or if by courier, the courier has noted the panels as damaged on the original waybill.
7) Goods that are correctly supplied and returned will be subject to a 10% handling fee.
8) We require your original invoice to process a return/credit.
9) Please return you item to Autostad and not the product Manufacturer.
10) Refunds and credits do not cover shipping or collection costs these will not be refunded.
11) Once we have received your return we will send you an email notifying you of the return and will also let you know of the approval or rejection of your refund. If your refund is accepted we will process your refund within 48hrs by EFT.
Used Engine Sale Policy:-
Engine have a 30 day start up warranty from date of invoice provided the following terms and conditions are adhered to:-
1) Engine to be fitted by a registered qualified mechanic.
2) Engine must be serviced and all oil and fuel filters must be replaced.
3) The cam belt/chain and tensioner must be replaced.
4) Engine oil must be replaced with the correct amount and oil grade.
5) Gaskets seals and water pump are not guaranteed.
6) The cooling system must be flushed and pressure tested.
7) The diesel pump and injectors must be serviced.
8) Trade-in engines belong to Autostad a refundable deposit may be charged. Ownership of the sold engine will only transfer upon receipt of the trade-in.
9) All engine are sold with heat seals the warranty will be void if there are tampered with or removed.
10) Autostad will not be liable for any labour, shipping or transport costs. These are NOT refundable.
Used Gearbox Sale Policy:-
1) Gearboxes and differentials have a 30 day warranty from date of invoice.
2) The trade in gearbox or differential belongs to Autostad a refundable deposit may be charged.
3) The gearbox or differential must be fitted by a qualified mechanic and a registered business.
4) Autostad will not be liable for any labour of shipping/transport costs these will NOT be refuned.
5) Gaskets and seals on used gearboxes are not guaranteed.
6) Gearbox and differential oil to be replaced with correct quantity of specified oil.
